Application:
Gravity separation is Mainly used for processing tungsten ore, tin ore, manganese ore,mercury ore,titanium ore, lead ore, titanium niobium ore, galena ore, celestite, barite, fluorspar, pyritic,limonite,hematite, antimony ore, chrome ore,etc,and can be applified for recovering metal from smelted slags.
Introduction:
Gravity separation is the best proven and accepted technique of concentrating minerals and has been used as a primary form of mineral concentration. Due to its high efficiency and low cost, gravity separation is always the first consideration in any flowsheet development program and always features in any flowsheet where there is sufficient differences between the specific gravity and particle size of the valuable and gangue minerals. Gravity separation is generally used for a wide range of commodities including gold, tin, tantalum, lead/zinc, platinum, mineral sands and etc. The equipment used for gravity separation are jigger, shaking table, spirals, centrifugal,etc.
