Flotation, also called as flotation beneficiation, is a sorting methods based on the different physical and chemical properties of the surface of mineral particles, according to the differences of mineral floatability. Flotation is widely used in fine-grained disseminated metallic minerals, nonmetallic minerals, chemicals and other mineral sorting. Another important use of flotation is to reduce ash and fine-grained pyrite in the fine coal.
Application:
Copper ore, Zinc Ore, Lead ore, Nickel ore, Gold ore, ferrous metals and Non-ferrous metals.
Flotation Process Introducing:
The ore will be crushed after exploded. Then the crushed material will go to the Ball mill, and material will be pulverized and grinded. The finished products will be classified, products with not suitable size will go back to the ball mill, while suitable one will go to Flotation Systems. Some medicament will be added to separate target material from others. After the flotation systems, it will be concentrated and filter pressed, and then gets the final products. The whole process is finished.
